The Oxford Symposium on Literature and Culture is a forum for the presentation of papers and discourse by scholars who have a particular interest in literature. For Symposium purposes, the nature of literacy research is defined broadly, encompassing the various aspects.

About the event
The Oxford Symposium on Literature and Culture is a dynamic platform for scholars, researchers, and literature enthusiasts to present papers and engage in thought-provoking discourse on the ever-evolving world of literary studies. With a focus on the theory, practice, and cultural impact of literature, this Symposium embraces a broad definition of literary research, encompassing diverse perspectives, genres, and historical contexts. We invite you to present your research and lead a discussion on a topic of your choice, or participate as an engaged observer. Presentations should be based on an abstract of approximately 150 words, approved by the Symposium’s Programme Committee.
You are also encouraged to submit a full paper, in keeping with your abstract, which may be published in an appropriate journal or book of conference proceedings. All papers presented for publication or inclusion in books or sponsored journals will be subject to peer review by external readers.
