The Symposium welcomes both presenting and non-presenting delegates. A formal paper is not required to attend or to make a presentation. Those wishing to present are asked to submit an abstract for approval outlining the topic they intend to address.

Presentations should be consistent with the approved abstract. Each presenter is allocated 25 minutes: approximately 20 minutes for the presentation, followed by 5 minutes for questions and discussion.
 
Presentations may draw upon original research, professional practice, policy, case studies, theoretical perspectives, emerging issues, innovative programmes, or other work relevant to the Symposium. The emphasis is on sharing ideas, experience and expertise that will contribute to meaningful discussion among participants.
 
Presenters may use PowerPoint or other presentation software. Files should be saved locally on your device rather than relying solely on cloud-based access. We also recommend keeping a backup copy accessible by email or another method.
 
Non-presenting delegates are encouraged to take an active part in the Symposium. The exchange of perspectives among academics, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, administrators, lawyers and other professionals is an important part of the programme and often extends the discussion well beyond the individual presentations.
